[PLEASE NOTE] This position can be either:

  • based in the UK. A trip to our office in Switzerland (expenses paid by the company) one week per quarter, to work onsite with the team, is required
  • in our Swiss HQ in Mendrisio, Switzerland, which is 7km over the border from Italy and easily commutable from Milan, Como, Varese or Lugano. We are also happy to assist with your relocation to this beautiful part of Europe and we have a hybrid remote working policy.

We are looking for a solid engineer to add to our current SRE team. The ideal candidate is excited about working for a growing international company and building a fantastic product.


Role description:

The infrastructure team is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining a performing and elastic infrastructure.

In this role, you will contribute to the definition and the implementation of the infrastructure to make the above a reality. This will require you to collaborate with other team members proactively and contribute to an atmosphere of success where we can quickly achieve goals without breaking things in production.

The SRE works closely with our engineers to build the infrastructure that runs the incredible product we are building together. We strongly believe in automation, and our infrastructure is based on different infrastructures as code technologies.

Job requirements

  • Advanced level of expertise in managing infrastructure on AWS

  • Solid experience in container orchestrator technologies like EKS and ECS

  • Solid experience in infrastructure as code technology, mainly Terraform, but CloudFormation is a bonus point

  • Experience in cloud architecture patterns and best practices for designing highly available, scalable, and secure systems

  • Extensive understanding of scripting languages such as Python, NodeJs, Golang, and Bash.

  • Advanced level of expertise in managing relational and no relational databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, and MySql

  • Experience with distributed version control systems: mainly Git

  • Experience with on-call processes using PagerDuty or similar tools

  • High level of English proficiency, both spoken and written

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a sense of urgency and integrity

  • Experience with building CI/CD pipelines using technologies such as Jenkins or Github Actions

  • Passion for coding, automating processes, and shipping features that drive user adoption
